Three rounds into the 2014 HP Byron Nelson Championship, and it’s still anyone’s tournament. Going into Sunday’s final round, 12 golfers are within three shots of the lead. Saturday’s round began with 14 golfers within three shots of the lead. The round ended much the same way it began with a clogged leaderboard.
Going into Sunday’s final round, Louis Oosthuizen and second-round leader Brendon Todd share the lead at 10-under for the tournament. Three golfers lurk one shot back, including Masters Champion Mike Weir. Oosthuizen posted the lowest round of the day with a 6-under 64.
Four golfers are tied for sixth place, including Padraig Harrington, who shot a 66 on Saturday. With as many golfers at the top of the leaderboard, the Championship may be headed to extra holes for the 18th time since 1968, which ranks first among PGA TOUR events.
