Byron Nelson International Junior Golf Awards presented by Under Armour;
Byron Nelson spent his life promoting the game of golf and the values that are instilled through it. He dedicated himself to mentoring young players as they pursued this competitive career, offering advice about playing golf and demonstrating good sportsmanship and humility. It’s this “balance of life” that is reflected in the Byron Nelson International Junior Golf Awards.
The Byron Nelson International Junior Golf Awards recognize the achievements of junior golfers around the world who distinguish themselves with a high level of junior tournament play as well as excellence in academics, exceptional character and a commitment to community service.
The awards ceremony will be held during the AT&T Byron Nelson tournament week. The award recipients and his parent(s) or a guardian will be flown to Dallas during the AT&T Byron Nelson to experience a PGA TOUR tournament.
Past winners have gone on to win Masters, U.S. Opens, British Opens, PGA Championships, PGA TOUR events, European Tour events, NCAA National Championships, USGA Junior Amateur Championships as well as participated in Ryder Cups, President’s Cups, Walker Cups and Junior Ryder Cups.
