McKinney, Texas, (November 10, 2020) – As excitement builds for the 2021 AT&T Byron Nelson tournament, the McKinney Chamber of Commerce and the Salesmanship Club of Dallas hosted a ceremonial ribbon cutting today at TPC Craig Ranch. The event celebrated the AT&T Byron Nelson’s move to its new home in Collin County, along with early successes in secured sponsorships and hospitality commitments.

Commemorating the move to McKinney, AT&T Byron Nelson leadership previewed the upcoming 2021 tournament and the experience they hope to create for spectators. Leadership also recognized commitments from tournament’s four new Premier Partners: City of McKinney, Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, Healthcare Highways, and Independent Financial. They will join returning Premier Partners Cadillac and Anheuser-Busch.
Tournament hospitality is already 77% sold, with more than 95% of customers committing to multi-year deals. More than 20 Collin County companies have already committed. Organizers are at 45% of the projected sales goal, before the launch of general ticket sales. The Healthcare Highways Pro-Am held the Wednesday before tournament play is sold out.

The 2020 AT&T Byron Nelson was canceled in March, due to the pandemic. Four weeks later, the tournament, along with the PGA TOUR announced the tournament would be moving to its new home at TPC Craig Ranch as part of a five-year agreement with course operator ClubCorp. Since 1968, The AT&T Byron Nelson has raised $167 million for Momentous Institute, more than any event on the PGA TOUR. The PGA TOUR named Momentous Institute its 2019 Charity of the Year for its transformational work in education and social emotional health.
